What is permanent jewelry?

Permanent jewelry is jewelry custom fit and welded onto the body; typically in the form of a necklace, bracelet, or anklet. Instead of a typical clasp, the soldered together piece creates a more seamless look. Mark a memorable occasion, highlight a special connection with someone or just get one (or two!) for fun--there is a style for everyone!

How do I care for my permanent jewelry or charm necklace/bracelet?

Accepted Answer

We recommend cleaning your welded jewelry with dish soap and warm water. Gently brush along your chain to remove any dirt or grime. Polishing cloths for jewelry can also help to restore shine. Even our gold filled and sterling silver jewelry should be kept clean from perfumes, lotions, and other chemical products (make up, hairspray,  cleaning products, etc).  Recurring and excess exposure to these products can cause tarnishing over time. Silver cleaner or silver cleaning wipes can help, should you run into an issue with your stainless steel oxidizing.

While our necklace and bracelet chains are gold filled and stainless steel, our charms are made out of a variety of materials. For those pieces, we highly recommend avoiding any moisture. So please take off before swimming, bathing, or getting active!

What if my permanent jewelry breaks or falls off?

Accepted Answer

All permanent jewelry sales are final. Despite chains being soldered on, chains can be fragile. Keep this in mind so that your pieces don't get caught on something and break. If they do break, contact us and we can re-weld your piece free of charge; however, Piper & Row is not responsible for damaged and/or stolen chains or charms. No refunds or replacements will be issued. Thank you for your understanding!

Where can I find you and how can I  book you for a private event?

We will be posting  upcoming pop-ups and fair locations on our website as well as our instagram page. Please be sure to follow us to get all the up-to-date information regarding dates and locations. We are also available for private parties and events. You can send us a message through the website or instagram and we will respond to you as soon as possible.

What if I want or need to remove my permanent jewelry?

Accepted Answer

A simple snip using nail clippers or scissors at the jump ring, or location of welding, should do the trick!

If you need the jewelry removed for any upcoming procedures, such as MRI or surgery, and would like it replaced after the procedure reach out to us to get it re-welded.

What is the price range for the charm bar and permanent jewelry?

Accepted Answer

The Charm Bar prices can vary depending on how many charms you pick. Standard necklace price of $20 and $10 for bracelets. Charms are priced per charm. Since there is a variety of materials and sizes, charms range anywhere from $4-$8 per charm.

For permanent jewelry prices also vary depending on the type of chain and location of your piece. We charge by the inch since we can do bracelets, anklets, necklaces & rings- you name it. Gold filled and sterling silver chains are between $5-$13 per inch and solid gold chains start at $20 an inch.

Not at all!! It is a completely painless process and only takes a couple of minutes. The most painful part of the experience will be deciding which gorgeous chain to choose! 😄
